Grasim Industries rises on getting nod to raise Rs 1,000 crore via NCDs
Grasim Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1491.50, up by 16.50 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 1475.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1475.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1491.50 and Rs. 1453.45 respectively. So far 3091 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1939.00 on 18-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1350.85 on 24-May-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1575.00 and Rs. 1453.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 97559.38 crore.

Grasim Industries has received approval for raising Rs 1,000 crore via NCDs (non-convertible debentures) on a private placement basis in one or more tranches. The Finance Committee of the company at their meeting held on May 14, 2022 has approved the same.
Grasim Industries is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. The company’s businesses comprise viscose staple fibre, cement, chemicals and textiles. Its core businesses are VSF and cement, which contribute to over 90% of its revenues and operating profits.
