Genus Power trades higher on incorporating wholly-owned subsidiary

Genus Power Infrastructures is currently trading at Rs. 79.60, up by 1.20 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 80.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.45 and Rs. 79.35 respectively. So far 2111 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 113.00 on 21-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.20 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 82.75 and Rs. 78.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2056.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.23% and 42.33% respectively.
 
Genus Power Infrastructures has incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary namely ‘Hi-Print Technologies’ on October 12, 2022. Wholly-owned subsidiary is incorporated in order to bid separately across varied smart meter tenders. Nature of consideration is 100% subscription to the share capital is in cash.

Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
