FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 12 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equity segment and net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6025.89 crore against gross selling of Rs 9029.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3003.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 515.09 crore with gross sales of Rs 491.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 23.21 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5.86 crore in hybrid segment.
