FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 08 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9541.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 14036.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4494.76 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 518.82 crore against gross sales of Rs 749.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 230.47 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.46 crore in hybrid segment.
