The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 364.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 91.25 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 299.16 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 3.57 per cent at Rs 671.59 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 648.46 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.65 per cent to Rs 523.58 crore from Rs 495.58 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 24.53 per cent at Rs 35.02 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 46.40 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 3.19 per cent to Rs 148.01 crore as against Rs 152.88 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 6.53 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 68.17 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.41 crore, while Taxation decreased by 1276.89 per cent at Rs -263.74 crore (Mar'21 Rs 22.41 crore).
