The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 56.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 6.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 715.57 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.89 per cent at Rs 540.39 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 505.56 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.65 per cent to Rs 501.42 crore from Rs 474.62 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 632.88 per cent at Rs 21.62 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.95 crore). Operating Profit surged by 25.95 per cent to Rs 38.97 crore as against Rs 30.94 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.81 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 86.82 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.29 crore, while Taxation decreased by 161.37 per cent at Rs -8.07 crore (Mar'21 Rs 13.15 crore).
