Dhunseri Tea jumps on inking MoU with Apeejay Tea for acquisition of two tea estates
Dhunseri Tea & Industries is currently trading at Rs. 257.65, up by 35.85 points or 16.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 221.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 230.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 261.00 and Rs. 229.85 respectively. So far 33728 shares were traded on the counter.

Dhunseri Tea & Industries has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 5, 2022 with Apeejay Tea for acquisition of the two tea estates (Budlabeta Tea Estate and Hapjan Tea Estate) located in Tinsukia District in the State of Assam for a total consideration of Rs 109.00 crore. The objective of acquisition is to enhance production, turnover and profitability.
