Dhunseri Tea and Industries posts Q4 net loss of Rs 147.70 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 147.70 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 26.96 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 36.91 per cent at Rs 18.63 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 29.53 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 24.96 per cent to Rs 44.19 crore from Rs 58.89 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 40.80 per cent at Rs 1.76 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1.25 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 12.94 per cent to Rs -25.56 crore as against Rs -29.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 38.04 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 53.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.15 crore, while Taxation decreased by 51.46 per cent at Rs -2.33 crore (Mar'21 Rs -4.80 crore).
