HDFC Life Insurance Company gains on reporting 32% rise in new business premium during May

HDFC Life Insurance Company is currently trading at Rs. 588.10, up by 6.50 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 581.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 582.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 588.85 and Rs. 582.05 respectively. So far 10324 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 620.70 on 06-Jan-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 457.95 on 16-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 596.65 and Rs. 568.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 126098.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.29% and 13.40% respectively.

HDFC Life Insurance Company has recorded 31.65% rise in its new business premium at Rs 1992.40 crore in May 2023 against Rs 1513.45 crore a year ago. In May 2023, its Individual Single Premium stood at Rs 263.70 crore, Individual Non-Single Premium stood at Rs 627.52 crore, Group Single Premium and Group Yearly Renewable Premium stood at Rs 1042.13 crore and Rs 59.05 crore respectively.
