The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 35.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 45.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 21.38 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 14.41 per cent at Rs 693.99 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 810.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 12.85 per cent to Rs 615.78 crore from Rs 706.59 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 48.54 per cent at Rs 5.08 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 3.42 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 24.95 per cent to Rs 78.21 crore as against Rs 104.21 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.30 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 33.74 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.22 crore, while Taxation increased by 11.04 per cent at Rs 18.11 crore (Jun'21 Rs 16.31 crore).
