The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 32.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 76.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 57.12 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 54.06 per cent at Rs 501.91 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,092.56 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 53.81 per cent to Rs 430.78 crore from Rs 932.66 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 25.59 per cent at Rs 7.30 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 9.81 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 55.52 per cent to Rs 71.13 crore as against Rs 159.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.21 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 29.38 per cent y-o-y to Rs 14.04 crore, while Taxation decreased by 52.87 per cent at Rs 17.48 crore (Mar'21 Rs 37.09 crore).
