Coal India trades in green on reporting 48% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit
Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 163.20, up by 1.50 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 161.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 163.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 164.85 and Rs. 159.85 respectively. So far 889285 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 203.85 on 06-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 123.45 on 19-Apr-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 170.30 and Rs. 158.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 100668.17 crore.

Coal India has reported a rise of 12.42% in its net profit at Rs 5,644.43 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 5,020.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.86% at Rs 5,888.20 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 5,311.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 47.74% in its net profit at Rs 4,556.54 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 3,084.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.53% at Rs 29,086.35 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 24,334.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
