India Pesticides moves up on launching Herbicide Technical Product at Sandila Plant

India Pesticides is currently trading at Rs. 246.45, up by 1.60 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 244.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 245.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 246.70 and Rs. 244.40 respectively. So far 369 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 335.75 on 04-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 200.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 248.65 and Rs. 239.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2819.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.21% and 30.59% respectively.

India Pesticides has launched Herbicide Technical Product at its Sandila Plant and is exclusively for export markets. This is the 7th molecule launched by the company and is part of its earlier announced medium-term strategy of launching 8 new molecules.

The company has launched this selective systemic herbicide for controlling grass and certain broad-leaves weeds in the pre- or early post-emergence stages. This herbicide is primarily used in crops such as maize, soybeans, tomatoes, potatoes, sunflowers, wheat, and rice.

India Pesticides is an R&D focused agrochemical technical company, which has growing formulations business in herbicides, insecticides and fungicide segments. It also manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
