The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 49.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 48.57 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.22 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 28.76 per cent at Rs 572.41 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 444.57 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 34.61 per cent to Rs 504.33 crore from Rs 374.65 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 2.78 per cent at Rs 4.80 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 4.67 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 2.63 per cent to Rs 68.08 crore as against Rs 69.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 24.41 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 23.68 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.29 crore, while Taxation decreased by 20.49 per cent at Rs 12.53 crore (Mar'21 Rs 15.76 crore).
