Central Bank of India shines on reporting 81% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Central Bank Of India is currently trading at Rs. 31.53, up by 1.16 points or 3.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.37 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.42 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.59 and Rs. 30.42 respectively. So far 1958988 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 41.80 on 14-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.55 on 27-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.59 and Rs. 29.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27301.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 93.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.98% and 3.94% respectively.

Central Bank of India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). 
Central Bank of India has reported 78.22% rise in its net profit at Rs 418.43 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 234.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 28.73% at Rs 8,183.92 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 6,357.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 81.38% rise in its net profit at Rs 494.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 272.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 28.66% at Rs 8,218.02 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 6,387.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
