Bombay Dyeing posts Q4 net loss of Rs 41.73 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 41.73 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 166.77 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 19.85 per cent at Rs 598.01 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 498.95 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 16.84 per cent to Rs 528.02 crore from Rs 451.90 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 15.34 per cent at Rs 10.15 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.80 crore). Operating Profit surged by 48.76 per cent to Rs 69.99 crore as against Rs 47.05 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 24.07 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 27.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 109.14 crore, while Taxation decreased by 93.11 per cent at Rs 4.36 crore (Mar'21 Rs 63.30 crore).
