The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 166.77 crore compared to net profit of Rs 47.78 crore in the previous year quarter.я Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 59.36 per cent at Rs 498.95 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 313.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.09 per cent to Rs 451.90 crore from Rs 342.11 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 109.52 per cent at Rs 8.80 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 4.20 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 262.19 per cent to Rs 47.05 crore as against Rs -29.01 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 201.73 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 8.43 per cent y-o-y to Rs 150.55 crore, while Taxation increased by 128.77 per cent at Rs 63.30 crore (Mar'20 Rs -220.01 crore).
