Bharti Airtel surges on acquiring 4.7% stake in Indus Towers
Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 750.35, up by 17.00 points or 2.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 733.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 740.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 751.90 and Rs. 737.05 respectively. So far 213379 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 781.90 on 24-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 504.55 on 01-Apr-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 751.90 and Rs. 697.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 440029.07 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.85% and 5.21% respectively.
Bharti Airtel alongwith its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nettle Infrastructure Investments, has acquired 127,105,179 equity shares (4.7%) of Indus Towers at Rs 187.88 per share from Euro Pacific Securities, an affiliate of Vodafone Group.
