Bharti Airtel rises as its arm reports 41% growth in revenue during Q1FY24

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 860.10, up by 3.50 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 856.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 857.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 861.75 and Rs. 853.00 respectively. So far 243924 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 901.55 on 27-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 710.00 on 29-Aug-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 871.80 and Rs. 849.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 512520.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.14% and 3.88% respectively.

Bharti Airtel’s arm -- Airtel Payments Bank has reported 41% year-on-year growth in revenue to Rs 400 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). The customer deposits at Airtel Payments grew to Rs 1,922 crore and it now has 5.54 crore monthly transacting users, an annualised gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 2,381,00 crore and revenue of over Rs 1,600 crore on an annual basis. It processes over 7 billion annualised transactions across its platforms. The payments bank has more than 3,000 corporate partners and a network of 500,000 banking points spread across the country.
