Bharti Airtel shines on entering into agreement to acquire 9.01% stake in Avaada CleanTN Project
Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 703.40, up by 11.95 points or 1.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 691.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 705.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 706.85 and Rs. 695.60 respectively. So far 9548 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 781.90 on 24-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 490.36 on 25-Mar-2021.

Bharti Airtel has entered into an agreement resulting into acquisition of aggregate 9.01% equity stake in Avaada CleanTN Project, a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the Captive Power Plant, in terms of the regulatory requirement for captive power consumption under electricity laws. Cost of acquisition is Rs 7.89 crore.
