Bharti Airtel moves up on reporting 14% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 795.50, up by 7.65 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 787.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 789.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 797.40 and Rs. 787.50 respectively. So far 55878 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 877.10 on 25-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 629.05 on 14-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 802.50 and Rs. 783.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 470209.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.88% and 4.09% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has reported net profit at Rs 1354.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to net loss of Rs 2296.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.01% at Rs 21966.60 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 19788.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 13.76% rise in its net profit at Rs 4226.00 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 3715.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.15% at Rs 36293.90 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 31518.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported net loss at Rs 89.60 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 3863.70 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 22.35% at Rs 87353.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 71399.00 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 47.95% rise in its net profit at Rs 12287.40 crore as compared to Rs 8305.20 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.65% at Rs 140081.40 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 117081.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
