The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 13.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 14.17 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 7.90 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.54 per cent at Rs 290.10 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 260.08 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.03 per cent to Rs 275.87 crore from Rs 239.82 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 9.23 per cent at Rs 9.94 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 9.10 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 29.76 per cent to Rs 14.23 crore as against Rs 20.26 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 36.97 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 16.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.45 crore, while Taxation decreased by 46.10 per cent at Rs 4.01 crore (Mar'20 Rs 7.44 crore).
