Best Agrolife inches up after its arm gets patent for new invention

Best Agrolife is currently trading at Rs. 1095.10, up by 0.55 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 1094.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1090.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1102.60 and Rs. 1084.55 respectively. So far 4851 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1774.45 on 05-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 767.95 on 12-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1120.00 and Rs. 1069.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2597.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.63% and 37.17% respectively.

Best Agrolife’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Seedlings India has received a patent for an invention entitled ‘Synergistic Herbicidal Composition of Triazine and Sulfonylurea Herbicides with Phenoxyacetic Herbicide’ for the term of 20 years.

The new patent is a combination of Ametryn+2, and 4D+Halosulfuron methyl used for the control of weeds in sugarcane as pre, early post, and post-emergent herbicide.
