ICICI Pru AMC informs about addendum to SAI
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced addendum to the Statement of Additional Information (SAI) of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has informed that pursuant to AMFI Best Practice Guidelines Circular No. 119/2025-26 dated May 08, 2025 on Standard Process for Transfer of Units held in Non-Demat (SoA) mode for Individual Holders, the Notice No. 012/11/2024 dated November 25, 2024 issued by the AMC is amended as follows:
A. Facility for transfer of units held in SOA mode: In compliance with the AMFI Best Practices Guidelines Circular dated August 14, 2024 and May 08, 2025, the facility to Transfer of Units held in Non-Demat (SoA) mode would be available to ‘individual unitholders’ falling under the following categories:
1. Surviving joint unitholder, who wants to add new joint holder(s) in the folio upon demise of one or more joint unitholder(s).
2. A nominee of a deceased unitholder, who wants to transfer the units to the legal heirs of the deceased unitholder, post the transmission of units in the name of the nominee.
3. A minor unitholder who has turned a major and has changed his/her status from minor to major, wants to add the name of the parent / guardian, sibling, spouse etc. in the folio as joint holder(s).
4. Transfer to siblings
5. Gifting of units
6. Transfer of units to any third party
7. Addition/deletion of unit holder; (clause 4, 5, 6 and 7 above are the new inclusion)
The facility is extended to all the investors under Resident/non-resident Individual category. The procedure applicable to the above transactions shall be same as mentioned in the Notice No. 012/11/2024 dated November 25, 2024.
All the other provisions of the SAI/ application forms of the schemes, except as specifically modified herein above remain unchanged. This Notice-cum-Addendum forms an integral part of the SAI of the Fund, as amended from time to time.
