Bajaj Finserv Q1 net profit zooms 62886.49% at Rs 233.05 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 233.05 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 0.37 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 62886.49 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 1390.78 per cent at Rs 341.24 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 22.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.30 per cent to Rs 43.90 crore from Rs 39.09 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 12.99 per cent at Rs 15.60 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 17.93 crore). Operating Profit surged by 1935.43 per cent to Rs 297.34 crore as against Rs -16.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 223.13 per cent in June quarter. Taxation increased by 49343.75 per cent at Rs 79.11 crore (Jun'21 Rs 0.16 crore).
