The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 33.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 48.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 31.70 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 13.24 per cent at Rs 243.80 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 215.29 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.44 per cent to Rs 210.92 crore from Rs 162.95 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 19.04 per cent at Rs 6.72 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 8.30 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 31.58 per cent to Rs 35.82 crore as against Rs 52.35 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 39.57 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 58.82 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.14 crore, while Taxation decreased by 31.69 per cent at Rs 7.07 crore (Jun'21 Rs 10.35 crore).
