Bajaj Auto moves up on reporting 7% rise in April sales
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 4485.45, up by 56.00 points or 1.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 4429.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4430.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4490.00 and Rs. 4427.85 respectively. So far 1723 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4,490.00 on 2-May-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3461.30 on 06-May-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4490.00 and Rs. 4280.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 125334.55 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.21% and 21.80% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 7% in total sales to 3,31,278 units in April 2023 as against 3,10,774 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales increased by 109% to 2,13,172 units in April 2023 as compared to 1,02,177 units in April 2022. Total export sales decreased by 43% to 1,18,106 units in April 2023 as compared to 2,08,597 units in April 2022.
Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 95% at 1,81,828 units in April 2023 as compared to 93,233 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 31,344 units in April 2023 as against 8,944 units in April 2022, registering a rise of 250%.
