Air traffic begins to recover as average daily flier improve to 75K
Weekly average daily fliers came in at 75k in the week ended (W.E) 05th Jun’21 vs 49k in the W.E. 29th May’21. For the W.E. 5 th Jun’21, average number of departures increased sharply to 907 vis-à-vis 773 in the prior week. The number of fliers per departure also rose sharply to 83 from 64 in the respective weeks. Average daily fliers grew 52% WoW due to 17% growth in departures and 30% increase in the number of fliers per departure.
