Aster DM Healthcare rises on commencing drone delivery trials with Skye Air Mobility in Kerala

Aster DM Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 190.00, up by 0.65 points or 0.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 189.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 188.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 192.00 and Rs. 188.40 respectively. So far 177 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 237.25 on 14-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 147.00 on 09-Jun-2021.

Aster DM Healthcare has commenced drone delivery trials with drone technology-based logistics firm Skye Air Mobility in Kerala. The companies recently joined hands to transport essential medicine and critical lab samples from Aster MIMS Hospital to Aster Mother Hospital Areekode using drones. Aster DM Healthcare will leverage Skye Air's drone technology for delivery of diagnostic samples and medicines initially in Calicut and further across Kerala.

The trials aim to demonstrate a faster supply chain for sample collection by effectively using drone delivery technology. The technology illustrates the cost effectiveness and reduction in delivery time. These trial runs will result in commercial roll-outs in different locations for the healthcare service provider across India.
