Aster DM Healthcare rises as its arm acquires additional 2% stake in Medcare Hospital
Aster DM Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 248.85, up by 0.85 points or 0.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 248.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 250.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 253.15 and Rs. 245.30 respectively. So far 28294 shares were traded on the counter.

Aster DM Healthcare’s step-down subsidiary -- Aster DM Healthcare FZC has acquired additional 2% stake in Medcare Hospital, a material step-down subsidiary of the Company on September 14, 2022. Consequent to the said acquisition, legal shareholding of Aster DM Healthcare FZC in Medcare Hospital shall increase from 73% to 75% and effective (beneficial) shareholding from 85% to 87%. Cost of acquisition is UAE Dirham 23.750 million.
