The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 62.87 crore compared to net loss of Rs 14.24 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 24.04 per cent at Rs 290.79 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 234.43 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 10.47 per cent to Rs 246.79 crore from Rs 223.41 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 753.52 per cent at Rs 54.54 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 6.39 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 299.27 per cent to Rs 44.00 crore as against Rs 11.02 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 221.91 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 28.31 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.42 crore, while Taxation decreased by 129.73 per cent at Rs -0.22 crore (Mar'21 Rs 0.74 crore).
