Ashoka Buildcon gains on receiving LoA from NHAI for Kerala project

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 81.50, up by 0.40 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 81.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 81.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.00 and Rs. 80.35 respectively. So far 97429 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 108.50 on 05-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 69.00 on 25-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 83.00 and Rs. 74.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2287.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.03% and 24.48% respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for the Project viz. Construction of 6 lane Elevated Corridor along with development of existing 4 lane road at ground level from Aroor to Thuravoor Thekku section of NH - 66 (from Km. 366+330 to Km. 379+082 of NH-66) (Length 12.752 Km) under Bharatmala Pariyojana in the State of Kerala on EPC mode. The accepted Bid project cost for the project is Rs 1,668.50 crore.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis.
