Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 137.05, up by 0.35 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 136.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 137.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 137.65 and Rs. 134.75 respectively. So far 291870 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 143.25 on 03-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 72.00 on 14-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 139.10 and Rs. 129.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40202.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.27% and 13.20% respectively.

Ashok Leyland has launched its all-new intermediate commercial vehicle (ICV) ecomet STAR with additional features to cater to 11T to 16T GVW ICV segment. The vehicle provides higher fluid efficiency, better tyre life, longer service intervals and overall lower maintenance cost with enhanced Turnaround Time (TAT). With such features, ecomet STAR offers the best-in-class Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the fleet owners.

The ecomet STAR is a differentiated product which reduces the TAT for the logistics sector and has features that improve driver safety. It delivers a better TAT for the fleet owner, thereby resulting in best-in-class TCO. This new product will further strengthen the company’s portfolio and help it in its journey to achieve its vision of being among the top 10 CV maker globally.
