Andhra Petrochemicals Q4 net profit down 52.74% at Rs 22.21 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 22.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 47.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 52.74 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.87 per cent at Rs 237.70 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 218.34 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 47.30 per cent to Rs 207.66 crore from Rs 140.98 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 417.58 per cent at Rs 4.71 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.91 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 61.17 per cent to Rs 30.04 crore as against Rs 77.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 64.32 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 7.73 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.15 crore, while Taxation decreased by 73.12 per cent at Rs 6.84 crore (Mar'21 Rs 25.45 crore).
