Ami Organics surges on reporting 15% rise in Q2 net profit

AMI Organics is currently trading at Rs. 1025.10, up by 12.25 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 1012.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1015.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1061.90 and Rs. 1015.20 respectively. So far 52245 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1438.50 on 22-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 841.20 on 14-Sep-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1355.00 and Rs. 1000.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3721.50 crore.

Ami Organics has reported 14.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 17.47 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 15.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 32.58% at Rs 122.47 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 92.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Ami Organics manufactures specialty chemicals that are used towards the development and manufacturing of advanced pharmaceutical intermediates for regulated and generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and New Chemical Entities (NCE), and key starting material for agrochemical and fine chemicals.
