The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 42.37 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 13.95 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 203.73 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 55.15 per cent at Rs 1,081.60 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 697.11 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 55.85 per cent to Rs 1,025.20 crore from Rs 657.82 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 58.22 per cent at Rs 12.80 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.09 crore). Operating Profit surged by 43.55 per cent to Rs 56.40 crore as against Rs 39.29 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 7.62 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 10.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.40 crore, while Taxation decreased by 3152.17 per cent at Rs -7.02 crore (Mar'21 Rs 0.23 crore).
