The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 17.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 21.28 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 17.90 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 32.93 per cent at Rs 175.71 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 132.18 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 54.27 per cent to Rs 150.51 crore from Rs 97.56 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 79.07 per cent at Rs 0.45 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.15 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 27.18 per cent to Rs 25.21 crore as against Rs 34.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 45.21 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 108.84 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.49 crore, while Taxation decreased by 106.06 per cent at Rs -0.54 crore (Mar'21 Rs 8.91 crore).
