The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 67.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 42.80 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 57.71 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 37.45 per cent at Rs 2,100.63 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,528.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.27 per cent to Rs 1,992.02 crore from Rs 1,505.99 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 31.02 per cent at Rs 8.56 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 12.41 crore). Operating Profit surged by 43.66 per cent to Rs 108.61 crore as against Rs 75.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 4.44 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 37.67 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.57 crore, while Taxation increased by 54.55 per cent at Rs 22.92 crore (Sep'20 Rs 14.83 crore).
