AIA Engineering Q1 net profit jumps 47.46% at Rs 153.52 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 153.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 104.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 47.46 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 36.28 per cent at Rs 881.99 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 647.21 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 35.65 per cent to Rs 710.62 crore from Rs 523.85 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 0.37 per cent at Rs 40.56 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 40.71 crore). Operating Profit surged by 51.11 per cent to Rs 186.41 crore as against Rs 123.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 10.86 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 44.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.04 crore, while Taxation increased by 46.36 per cent at Rs 52.06 crore (Jun'21 Rs 35.57 crore).
