The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 277.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 71.76 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 287.28 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 42.92 per cent at Rs 52.22 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 91.48 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 4971.76 per cent to Rs 86.22 crore from Rs 1.70 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 330.66 per cent at Rs 9.13 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 2.12 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 137.87 per cent to Rs -34.00 crore as against Rs 89.78 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 166.34 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 21.60 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.35 crore, while Taxation decreased by 85.71 per cent at Rs 0.01 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.07 crore).
