Months after PM Modi’s Lakshadweep visit hogged limelight, Indian beach destinations have attracted tourists. The visit also invited debate between Indian and Maldivian nationals as Male politicians sparked controversy. Maldives faced severe backlash from Indian tourists over distasteful comments by the country’s politicians. While Lakshadweep became talk of the town, Andaman and Nicobar has also gained footfall of travelers. Renowned for its serene beaches, the destination continues to captivate travelers seeking tranquility and adventure. Speaking to ANI, tourists were impressed by facilities at the beach and they also called it budget-friendly compared to Maldives. The visitors enjoying their vacation in Andaman also lauded the Centre over the developments of the islands. However, some local shop-owners were unhappy over a range of issues and arrangements at the beach.
