``Only pure ghee is used in Jagannath`` Odisha`s Law Minister assures after Tirupati Laddu row

Ahead of JP Nadda’s visit in Odisha, the Law Minister, Prithviraj Harichandan assured that only pure ghee is used for lighting the 'diya' and also for preparation of Prasad in Puri’s Jagannath Temple.
He said, “On behalf of the temple administration, we are ensuring that only pure ghee is used for lighting the 'diya' and also for preparation of prasad. We are ensuring that highest quality of ingredients is used. The temple administration is also creating awareness among servitors. An advisory has been issued regarding the same. We are also trying to deploy a dedicated food inspector in the temple premises to ensure the quality of ingredients used in the kitchen and for prayers.”
