“Old relations re-emphasized” Chief Minister Biren Singh after Assam assists IRB personnel to be posted in Manipur
Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh spoke to the media soon after the passing out parade of the IRB personnel on December 23 in Assam’s Golaghat. N Biren Singh also thanked the Assam government for assisting the troops with required resources and manpower for the training as it was scheduled to take place in Manipur but due to the unrest which has gripped the state it was rescheduled to its neighbor Assam.
“The old relations between Assam and Manipur have been re-emphasized... The situation in Manipur is not good, so IRB training could not be done there. I asked the Chief Minister of Assam and he immediately agreed. I thank the Assam government a lot for this”, said N Biren Singh.
