Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections: Polling begins for first phase in Sukma
Voting for the first phase of the Chattisgarh Assembly Elections in the state's southern region, began on Nov 07. Long queues of voters were seen outside the polling centres. BJP candidate from Sukma, Soyam Muka also casted his vote. A total of 223 candidates are in the fray for 20 seats, to which 5304 booths are set up for first phase of voting. Officials said 40.78 lakh voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in the first phase of polling
