On the new GST rates, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "From today, the festival season is starting across India, and every citizen is excited about the festivals. Prime Minister Modi, with the spirit of 'Citizen is God,' has significantly reduced GST rates, further boosting the enthusiasm for festivals in the heart of every Indian... We now have to buy indigenous products... We have all come here to the Munirka market, and we will meet the traders here."
