Prakash Pipes Q1 net profit zooms 136.46% at Rs 24.97 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 24.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 10.56 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 136.46 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 57.89 per cent at Rs 191.98 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 121.59 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 62.52 per cent to Rs 170.21 crore from Rs 104.73 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 1683.84 per cent at Rs 17.66 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 0.99 crore). Operating Profit surged by 29.12 per cent to Rs 21.77 crore as against Rs 16.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 18.24 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 67.65 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.57 crore, while Taxation increased by 142.14 per cent at Rs 10.63 crore (Jun'21 Rs 4.39 crore).
