In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -2.75 Rupees to end at 24564.7 Rupees per 100 kg.
Dhaniya trading range for the day is 10517-11557.
Dhaniya gained as steady exports and lower crop estimates have supported the markets.
Current crop production in major coriander growing states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat is estimated lower as compared to last year.
Coriander production is also likely to decline in Syria, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Russia this year.
In Kota spot market in Rajasthan the prices gained 5.4 Rupees to end at 11283.4 Rupees per 100 kg.
