FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 21 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 42948.14 crore against gross selling of Rs 38561.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4386.51 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 6333.95 crore with gross sales of Rs 2107.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4226.05 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 4819.46 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 504.77 crore and in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 88.64 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 299.62 crore against gross selling of Rs 230.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 69.56 crore in hybrid segment.
