GK Energy jumps on securing LoA from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company
GK Energy is currently trading at Rs. 126.35, up by 6.55 points or 5.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 119.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 119.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 128.25 and Rs. 119.20 respectively. So far 112074 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 239.45 on 23-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 87.54 on 02-Apr-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 128.25 and Rs. 118.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2554.48 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.46% and 12.34% respectively.
GK Energy has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company for setting up of 150 MW / 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Maharashtra with VGF support. The project to be commissioned within 18 months from the date of signing of the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA).
The order comprises a tariff of Rs 2,38,000 per MW per month resulting in yearly revenue of Rs 42.84 crore excluding GST for a period of 15 years from the date of commencement of commercial operations.
