On winning the Jharkhand Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2023, Captain of Indian women's hockey team Savita Punia said that the team played very aggressively after halftime. She also that they are enjoying their win.
Savita Punia said, “We are feeling very good right now. When we came here we were a bit nervous as Japan is a very good team. Japan played very well too... We played aggressively after halftime.”
Coach Janneke Schopman said, “4-0 was never expected in finals. It was tough but made it... The support here is really amazing... It was fantastic to play here.”
